What does Step Ahead Do? Step Ahead provides access to quality childcare for families transitioning off welfare roles and low-income, "at risk" families that are working or training for employability. Step Ahead also advocates for child safety issues through awareness, education, and stimulation of changed attitudes and develops injury prevention strategies that work in real life. So, what are the results? Parents can have peace of mind that their children are
well cared for and families are better able to protect their children
with properly fitted and installed car seats and bicycle helmets.
This photo was taken at one of our car seat clinics. Shepherd's Chevrolet allowed us to setup and inspect car seats and properly install car seats for anyone that attended. This service was provided at no charge to the participants.
